Orangeburg, N.Y. - The Felician men's lacrosse team battled throughout and closed strong in their season finale, but fell 11-8 to Dominican on Wednesday afternoon. Felician opened the game with three straight first-quarter goals and outshot the Chargers 42-40 in the contest.
The Golden Falcons came out sharp early, getting goals from
Connor Langdon,
Damian Carrigan, and
Joe Bouab to build a 3-0 advantage in the opening quarter. Dominican responded in the second period with four unanswered goals and carried momentum into halftime with a 6-3 lead.
Felician continued to fight back after the break as
Liam Dunn scored twice in the third quarter to keep the Falcons within striking distance. In the final period, Langdon,
Brian Rosko, and Carrigan each scored as Felician cut into the deficit, but the late push was not enough.
Landon Santangelo finished with 13 saves in goal.
