Rutherford, N.J. - The Felician women's volleyball team opens up their 2026 season with a road matchup against Mercy. 

The Golden Falcons will look for their third straight season-opening win after defeating Southern New Hampshire 3-0 on September 5th of last year. 

Falcons Flight Notes

• Kim Butrico begins her 5th season as head coach.
• The Golden Falcons have qualified for the CACC Tournament in four straight seasons. 
• Sandra Galas, Rowan Jensen, and Ashanna Caviness return to Rutherford in 2026. The trio led the team in kills last season, combining for 642 kills. 
• Galas also led the Golden Falcons with 83 aces, 33 more than Jensen, who finished second.
