LYNDHURST, N.J. – Freshman Jose Campos (West Haven, CT/Platt Tech) came off the bench to score the game's only goal and classmate Anthony Tsouhnikas (Clifton, NJ/Clifton) backed the defense to a shutout in goal as Felician College defeated visiting Goldey-Beacom College, 1-0, in Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference men's soccer action on Senior Night at the Lyndhurst Recreation Complex.

Felician (6-7, 3-5) took advantage of a Goldey-Beacom miscue to score the game-winner, which came with 15 minutes, 50 seconds, to play in regulation. A goal kick went off the side of the foot of GBC goalkeeper Ignacio Farias (Maracay, Venezuela/Instituto Educational A) and trickled to the middle of the 18-yard box. Campos was the first to the ball, took two touches, and got a shot by Farias.

Farias was otherwise brilliant on the evening. With his team being out-shot, 27-2, for the game, Farias made 13 saves, including stopping a Golden Falcon penalty kick in the first half. Farias consistently came off his line to frustrate the Golden Falcon shooters. Felician also came up empty on 12 corner kick opportunities.

Tsouhnikas needed to make one save to earn his second shutout of the season and the fifth for Felician. The Golden Falcons moved into a three-way tie for the eighth and final playoff spot in the CACC with three conference games left to play.

Six Golden Falcon seniors – Mike Azzato (Staten Island, NY/St. Joseph by-the Sea), Jadean Blasse (Willingboro, NJ/Willingboro), Carlos Canido (Santa Cruz, Bolivia/Tahuichi Academy), Javi Perez (Dover, NJ/Morris Catholic), Kevin Sinic (Leibnitz, Austria/Borg Monsberger), and Adrian Sutcliffe (Newcastle-upon-Tyne, England/Prudhoe) were honored in pre-game Senior Night ceremonies.
