Box Score LYNDHURST, N.J. – Felician College junior forward Jadean Blasse (Willingboro, NJ/Willingboro) came off the bench to score a school-record five goals as the Golden Falcons defeated visiting Lincoln (Pa.) University, 12-0, in non-conference men's soccer action Thursday afternoon at the Lyndhurst Recreation Complex. Thirteen players had at least one point for Felician, which was playing its 2011 home opener.
The Golden Falcons (2-1) had already taken a 4-0 lead before Blasse entered the game in the 14th minute. By halftime, he had registered a hat trick as the hosts pushed their bulge to 8-0. He then tallied his team's final two scores of the contest, in the 67th and 72nd minutes. Blasse, who sat out 2010, was one of five Golden Falcons to earn his first career goal in the contest.
Senior tri-captain Mike Azzato (Staten Island, NY/St. Joseph by-the-Sea) scored twice and freshman Jose Campos (West Haven, CT/Platt Tech) had a goal and two assists for Felician. The 12 goals by the team are also believed to be a school record.
Felician freshman goalkeeper Anthony Tsouhnikas (Clifton, NJ/Clifton) registered a shutout in his collegiate debut, making two saves. The Golden Falcons accumulated a 31-4 advantage in shots. Vincent Sumbry (Washington, DC/Benjamin Banneker) and Adedotun Osho (Lagos, Nigeria) combined for 12 saves for Lincoln (0-3).
