RUTHERFORD, N.J. – Felician College rode a 36-12 halftime advantage to a 77-53 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference women's basketball victory over visiting Wilmington (Del.) University on Saturday afternoon at Job Gymnasium. Felician junior forward Trina Plummer (West Babylon, N.Y./North Babylon) scored 19 first-half points and finished the day with 21 points in 21 minutes.

The Golden Falcons (3-6, 3-1 CACC) held Wilmington to three first-half field goals and 10-percent shooting from the floor. Felician led, 14-5, after 5 ½ minutes of action and 16 minutes into the game, was ahead 30-10. The hosts' 24-point halftime advantage was their largest of the period.

A three-point field goal by senior Shakeema Green (New York, N.Y./Murry Bergtraum) gave the Golden Falcons their biggest lead of the day, 48-19, with 12:22 to play. Wilmington systematically chipped away, getting as close as a 15-point deficit at the 4:58 mark. But Felician scored the next five points and pulled away for the win.

Keisha Jean-Louis (Somerville, Mass./Somerville) registered 12 points and nine rebounds on the afternoon for Felician and teammate Gisell Peguero (Brooklyn, N.Y./Midwood) also scored 12. The Golden Falcons rolled up a rebounding advantage of 60-37, led by a career-high 13 boards (and eight points) from sophomore Mary Chisholm (West Babylon, N.Y./North Babylon). Wilmington freshman Tenicia Spence (Baltimore, Md./Western) topped all scorers with 22 points.

Felician held the Wildcats (2-9, 1-4 CACC) to 23-percent shooting for the day and forced 24 Wildcat turnovers, offsetting 27 of its own miscues.

The teams combined for 48 personal fouls and 68 free-throw attempts.
