BLOOMFIELD, N.J. -- Bloomfield College shot 51 percent from the floor en route to an 83-55 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference men's basketball victory over visiting Felician College on Tuesday night at BC Gymnasium. Bloomfield (19-6, 13-2) is in first place in the CACC North Division.

The Deacons, who never trailed, took control of the contest in the final seven minutes of the first half. Leading by three at the 7:10 mark, Bloomfield outscored the Golden Falcons, 26-5, the rest of the way for a 49-25 halftime lead. The hosts shot 64 percent (22 for 34) in the opening 20 minutes.

Bloomfield led by as many as 33 points in the second half, with Felician coming no closer than a 21-point deficit.

Anthony D. Green (Jersey City, NJ) scored 16 points to top the Golden Falcons (6-15, 3-10). Green was 4 of 7 from three-point range. Tajric Boggs (Coram, NY) scored nine points, and Anthony J. Green (Jersey City, NJ) had a career-best nine rebounds.

Matt Wafula (Harlem, NY) (10-14 FG) was the high scorer on the night, leading Bloomfield with 25 points and adding seven rebounds. Marvin Williams (Jersey City, NJ) (8-12 FG) netted 19 points.
