First-Round Matchups
(1) Daemen vs (8) Goldey-Beacom
Daemen enters the regional as the top seed and host, giving the Wildcats a significant advantage. Known for their efficient offense and perimeter shooting, Daemen has been one of the most consistent programs in the East Region in recent seasons. Goldey-Beacom earned its way into the field after a strong run to the CACC Championship game and brings an aggressive offensive style that can create scoring bursts. For the Lightning to pull off an upset, they will likely need to disrupt Daemen's rhythm and push the pace.
(2) Felician vs (7) Adelphi
Felician University enters the tournament as the CACC Champion and one of the region's top teams after an outstanding season. The Golden Falcons rely on balanced scoring, strong guard play, and defensive pressure. Adelphi University earned an at-large bid out of the NE10 and brings athleticism and defensive intensity. Adelphi will look to create turnovers and generate transition opportunities, while Felician will aim to control tempo and execute in the half court.
(3) Saint Anselm vs (6) Assumption
Two NE10 programs meet in a matchup between familiar opponents. Saint Anselm College enters as the conference champion and the higher seed, bringing experience and a disciplined offensive system. Assumption University relies on strong defense and structured offensive sets, often slowing games down and forcing opponents into difficult shots.
(4) Bentley vs (5) Saint Michael's
This game may be the most evenly matched contest in the opening round. Bentley University features an efficient half-court offense and strong perimeter shooting, while Saint Michael's College counters with physical interior play and rebounding strength. The matchup between Bentley's outside shooting and Saint Michael's inside presence could ultimately determine the outcome.
Felician's Path to the Elite Eight
Felician University opens the NCAA East Regional with a first-round matchup against Adelphi University. As the higher seed, the Golden Falcons will look to control the tempo and limit turnovers against Adelphi's defensive pressure.
If Felician advances, the Round of 32 would likely feature Saint Anselm or Assumption. A win there would send the Golden Falcons into the regional semifinal — the Sweet Sixteen — where several potential matchups could await.
The Sweet Sixteen could feature notable rematches for Felician. A meeting with Daemen would mark a rematch of the season opener, while a matchup with Goldey-Beacom would reunite the two teams following their meeting in the CACC Championship. If that scenario unfolds, it would mark the fourth meeting between Felician and Goldey-Beacom this season. Bentley or Saint Michael's could also emerge from the opposite side of the bracket, presenting strong Northeast-10 competition.
Felician will rely on a balanced core led by CACC Player of the Year Jeremiah Anderson, Jared White, and Noah Hutchins. Anderson serves as the team's primary scoring option, while White provides versatility on the wing and Hutchins brings experience and playmaking in the backcourt. Inside, CACC Defensive Player of the Year Tristin Harcourt and Moussa Camara anchor the paint with rebounding and rim protection.
Depth will also play a key role throughout the regional, with contributions expected from Darrius Phillips, Tavian Pullock, Jaden Rodgers, and Eddie Evans off the bench. With momentum from its CACC Championship victory, Felician enters the regional with a strong opportunity to compete for a berth in the NCAA Division II Elite Eight.
