ORANGEBURG, N.Y. – Dominican (N.Y.) College outscored visiting Felician College, 46-27, in the second half to erase a six-point halftime deficit and earn a 71-58 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference men's basketball victory over the Golden Falcons on Monday night on Coach Baxter Court at the Hennessy Center. Dominican (14-3, 8-1 CACC) is ranked No. 25 in the most recent national NCAA Division II coaches poll.

A putback and free throw by Felician senior Antoine Obery (Roselle, N.J.) in the closing seconds of the first half allowed the visitors to take a 31-25 advantage into the locker room. The Golden Falcons led by eight early in period two, but Dominican reversed the game's fortunes by reeling off a 35-12 run spanning nearly 13 minutes of game time. Felician never cut its deficit lower than 13 points in the final seven minutes.

The Chargers shot 54 percent from the field in the second half and 46 percent for the night. Sophomore A.J. Burton (New Rochelle, N.Y.) came off the bench to lead all scorers with 21 points (13 in period two) and add seven rebounds. Burton shot 8 for 11 from the field and made all four of his three-point attempts. Senior Leon Porter (Laurel, Md.) scored 15 points for the hosts and sophomore Nick Smith (Middletown, N.Y.) (6-8 FG) added 14.

Anthony D. Green (Jersey City, N.J.) topped Felician (6-11, 4-6) with 12 points and Obery finished with 11 points and six rebounds. Sophomore Jarryd Horsley-Fordham (Orange, N.J./Marist) turned in six points and a game-high eight boards.

Felician will again attempt to pick up its first road win of the season on Saturday at the University of the Sciences.
