Box Score PHILADELPHIA – Felician College was limited to six shot attempts in its 4-0 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference men's soccer loss to host Holy Family University on Saturday afternoon at Tiger Field.
Junior midfielder Justin Hiltwine (Philadelphia, Pa.) registered a goal and two assists to lead Holy Family (3-11-1, 3-6 CACC). Teammate Kevin McCollick (Washington Township, N.J.) picked up a goal and an assist.
HFU took control early, tallying two goals in the match's first 12 minutes. McCollick earned his third of the season in the ninth minute, and then crossed a ball to Hiltwine for the latter's second score of 2015 with 11:54 gone by. The Tigers carried the 2-0 edge into halftime, limiting Felician to one shot for the period.
Holy Family bookended the second half with goals. The Tigers took full control with Joseph Steward (Philadelphia, Pa.) headed home Hiltwine's corner kick with 3:34 gone by in the period. HFU freshman Matthew Tracey (Abington, Pa.) recorded his first career goal, an unassisted tally, with 1:53 to play.
Holy Family finished the day with 14 shots, including three each from Hiltwine and McCollick. Freshman Kenny Monfort (Spring Valley, N.Y.) was the only Golden Falcon to get off more than one. Felician sophomore goalkeeper John Burns (Saddle Brook, N.J.) made four saves, while Holy Family senior netminder Richard Ongaro (Columbus, N.J.) finished the shutout with three.
