Box Score RUTHERFORD, N.J. – Felician University Men's soccer ties Jefferson University 0-0 during a home match on Saturday night at Tryon Field in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Match-Up.
Felician sophomore goalkeeper Uche Santschi (Bern, Switzerland) earned his fifth shutout of the season during this match. Santschi had one save on four shots, and Jefferson goalkeeper Matteo Crescente earned his third shutout of the season with seven saves on 10 shots.
Felician forward Anthony Medina (San Sebastian, Spain) led his team with three shots, two of them on goal. Midfielder Riccardo Benini (Bologna, Italy) and defender Anthony Gomez (Lake Worth, Fla.) were next in line with two shots each, all of them on goal.
After a Jefferson foul in the 80th minute and with one last chance, Felician defender Alex Ramos (Almada, Portugal) took a free kick from the 40 yard line and put it in the box for freshman defender Matt Greenway (Birmingham, England). Greenway had a scoring opportunity with a header on goal, but Rams' Crescente made save to stop the Golden Falcons from taking the lead and ultimatley the win.
Felician men's soccer is now 5-3-5, 2-2-3 in CACC play. They host Dominican University (N.Y.) in their next conference match on Wednesday at noon at Tryon Field.
