Livingston, NJ- Felician men's soccer team tallied 4 goals within the first 45-minutes of play to topple Chestnut Hill Saturday evening, 4-0, in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference match-up at Newark Academy in Livingston, NJ.

The home team out shot the Griffins, 21-7, with 14 of them being in the first half. Anthony Gomez (Lake Worth, FL) kicked off the Golden Falcon offense with its first goal, 1-0, assisted by Anthony Medina (San Sebastian, Spain) and by the 30-minute mark, Gianluca Trastulli (Rome, Italy) extended the lead, 2-0, on a free kick assist from Salvador Rang (Doorn, Netherlands).

Just a short time after the second goal, Riccardo Benini (Bologna, Italy) recorded Felican's third goal from a defensive header. The ball was crossed into the goal box to which the Griffins attempted to shoot it away from their goal but found the foot of Benini to make the score, 3-0. With under a minute remaining in the first half, the Golden Falcons notched their final goal of the match, however, it wasn't a Felician player to score, it was off the foot of Chestnut Hill that accidentally bounced into their own net, stretching the lead to 4-0.

Freshman goalkeeper, Pedro Bonfa (San Paulo, Brazil), earned his first career shutout and overall win with the Golden Falcons.

The men's soccer team now sits at 5-3-3 overall and 2-2-2 in the CACC. They will travel to Colchester, Vermont to face non-conference opponent, St. Michaels College Tuesday at 2:30pm.
