Box Score PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – Felician University women's basketball paid a Saturday visit to Holy Family in CACC action. A low-scoring affair fell in favor of the Tigers by a 56-45 score as the hosts improved to 11-5 overall and 6-0 in league play and Felician 6-6 and 3-3, respectively.
Leading just 14-12 after the first quarter, Holy Family used a 15-7 second quarter to pull further ahead 29-19 at the half. The Tigers opened the second half with 10 straight points on their way to their largest lead of the game at 42-21 in the third quarter.
Catherine Lecop (Madrid, Spain) led Felician with nine points and five steals. Katelyn Andres (North Bergen, N.J.) and Mimmi Hahne (Sollentuna, Sweden) each totaled eight points, while Aisha Traore (Bronx, N.Y.) led the team with seven rebounds.
Felician shot 21.7 percent (13-of-60) to Holy Family's 34.0 (17-of-50), with the Golden Falcons making 4-of-14 threes to the Tigers' 2-of-14. Holy Family led on the boards, 48-39, and made 20-of-27 free throws while Felician made 15-of-22.
The Golden Falcons look to rebound this Tuesday when they visit Bridgeport at 5:00 p.m.
