Rutherford, NJ – Felician's offense exploded as they matched their season-high in goals scored, storming past Point Park University with a dominant 5–1 victory.
The Golden Falcons put together a relentless attack, scoring twice in the opening 20 minutes and never looking back. Felician outshot Point Park 15–5 and tallied four different goal scorers in one of their most complete performances of the season from start to finish.The Falcons generated a total of nine corner kicks, marking a single game high for the 2025 season.
Junior Forward Keiji Sugiura set the tone early, striking just before the 15 minute mark, off an assist from Ayato Kaneko to give Felician the early lead. Just over a minute later, Bartu Yakkan doubled the lead, finishing a perfect setup from Sebastian Anaya to make it 2–0. After a first-half goal from Point Park, the Golden Falcons had a second-half offensive surge. Anaya added a goal of his own in the 70th minute, while Samuel Macy capped the high-scoring afternoon with a pair of late goals in the 83rd and 87th minutes, one assisted by Kaneko and the other by Odhran Lawlor.
Goalkeeper Gerardo Mendez made his first collegiate start, where he recorded three second-half saves to help secure the commanding win. Felician's back line held firm throughout the match neutralizing the Pioneers offensive attack.
The Golden Falcons return to action on Sunday for Senior Day, hosting their final home match of the regular season against Wilimington who currently ranks among one of the best teams in the East Region.
