Worcester, MA - The Felician University swimming teams delivered a series of strong performances during the multi-team meet at Worcester Polytechnic Institute on January 13, showcasing depth, consistency, and determination across a full slate of events.

In the women's distance events,
Martyna Bugala and
Tijana Lukic represented Felician well in the 500-yard freestyle, finishing back-to-back with times of 5:53.29 and 5:53.87, respectively. Both swimmers maintained steady pacing throughout the race and closed strong over the final 100 yards.

Felician continued to post solid results in the butterfly events. On the women's side,
Emily Hoppe recorded a time of 1:05.35 in the 100-yard butterfly, while
Linnea Lundin Skarp followed with a 1:07.50 effort. In the men's 100-yard butterfly, Nick Kelly touched in 1:00.78, gaining valuable race experience against a deep field.

The 200-yard individual medley saw multiple Felician swimmers contribute.
Elena Kaufmann led the women with a 2:19.96, while
Alice Sjoden Sikstrom added a 2:29.95 performance. On the men's side,
Markus Halvorsen finished in 2:05.81, followed closely by Alberto Garcia Segura (2:10.01) and
Luke O'Mara (2:14.11).

Felician's men made a strong impression in the 500-yard freestyle, highlighted by
Malik Biad, who posted a season-best 4:46.60, one of the fastest swims of the meet for the Golden Falcons.

Relay events capped off the meet with notable team efforts. The Felician women's 400-yard freestyle relay "A" team of Didi Higgs,
Amelia Mayers,
Nicolette Wight, and
Elena Kaufmann combined for a 3:46.43, while the "B" relay featuring
Tijana Lukic,
Linnea Lundin Skarp,
Isabella Gautier du Defaix, and
Emily Hoppe finished in 3:59.48. On the men's side, Felician's relay squad of
Malik Biad, Alberto Garcia Segura, Nick Kelly, and
Kasper Laerum recorded a time of 3:25.74.
