Pleasantville, NY - The Felician University swimming and diving teams competed against Pace University on January 17, 2026, gaining valuable experience across a full slate of events.

On the women's side,
Isabella Gautier du Defaix delivered a strong performance in the breaststroke events. She earned first place in the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 1:10.50 and followed it with another top finish in the 200-yard breaststroke, touching in 2:34.78.
Christine Fabo Mbite added key points by placing second in the 200-yard breaststroke and third in the 400-yard IM.

Felician showed depth in distance freestyle, as
Tijana Lukic and
Martyna Bugala finished second and third, respectively, in the 1000-yard freestyle, both posting times under 11:52.
Manca Petric was a consistent contributor throughout the meet, placing second in the 200-yard butterfly, second in the 500-yard freestyle, and recording a solid swim in the 200-yard freestyle.

In relay action, the Felician women's 200-yard medley relay team of
Nicolette Wight,
Isabella Gautier du Defaix,
Emily Hoppe, and
Amelia Mayers finished second, while the 200-yard freestyle relay squad placed third.

On the men's side,
Malik Biad stood out with multiple event victories. He won the 1000-yard freestyle, the 200-yard butterfly, and the 100-yard butterfly, showcasing versatility across distance and fly events. Biad also anchored the Felician 200-yard freestyle relay team that placed second.

Felician breaststrokers contributed steady results, led by
Markus Halvorsen and Alberto Garcia Segura, who placed second and third in the 100-yard breaststroke, and again finished second and third in the 200-yard breaststroke. Garcia Segura and
Luke O'Mara also earned points in the 400-yard IM, finishing third and fourth, respectively.

In backstroke and sprint freestyle events,
Nicolette Wight,
Dedrie Higgs,
Kasper Laerum, and Nick Kelly each added points in individual races, helping Felician remain competitive throughout the meet.
