Box Score CHARLOTTE, N.C. – A three-point field goal by junior guard Anthony Obery (Roselle, N.J.) with 16 seconds to play in regulation sealed Felician College's 79-73 non-conference men's basketball victory over Livingstone College on Friday evening at Brayboy Gymnasium. The game was the opening match-up of the two-day Johnson C. Smith University Tip-Off tournament.
Felician (2-0) never trailed on the night, but saw a nine-point lead with 2:10 to play sliced to 74-71 at the 1:07 mark. The Golden Falcons shot 58 percent from beyond the arc and, for the second consecutive game, had six different players make at least one trifecta.
The Golden Falcons put five players in double figures, led by 16 points and six rebounds from Obery's older brother, senior swingman Antoine Obery (Roselle, N.J.). Anthony Obery finished with 13 points, and Oyeniyi posted 10 points and a game-high 15 rebounds.
