SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Le Moyne College scored 22 consecutive first-half points to pull away and earn an eventual 89-56 non-conference men's basketball victory over visiting Felician University on Saturday afternoon on Ted Grant Court.

Le Moyne (9-3) is ranked No. 10 in the most recent NCAA Division II East Region writers' poll.

Senior forward Kennedy Chukwuocha (Willingboro, N.J.) paced Felician (6-8) with 11 points and seven rebounds. Classmate Bryant Webb (Parlin, N.J.) also talled 11 points.

Two three-point field goals by Golden Falcon junior Gjaimeir Stanford (Wilmington, Del.) gave the visitors an early 6-2 edge. But the Dolphins scored the next eight points and ever trailed again.

With 12 minutes, 19 seconds, left in the first period, Webb completed a conventional three-point play to pull Felician to within a 20-14 deficit. But the Golden Falcon offense went silent for the next 7:54 of game time. By the time Webb converted two free throws at the 4:25 mark, his team trailed, 42-16. Felican went 0 for 10 from the floor and committed three turnovers during the decisive run.

The Dolphins were ahead, 53-22, at halftime. They took their largest lead, 73-33, with 9:40 left in the contest.

Le Moyne placed five scorers in double figures, with its top two coming off the bench. Junior Tyree Chambers (Bayreuth, Germany) had 18 points, seven rebounds and five assists in 22 minutes, and classmate Daniel Kaigler (Syracuse, N.Y.) shot 7 for 7 from the floor and totaled 15 points and seven rebounds in 18 minutes.

Golden Falcon freshman William Phelps (Linden, N.J.) matched a season high with nine points.

Felician returns to Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference action when it hosts Wilmington (Del.) University on Wednesday at 8 p.m. in Rutherford, N.J.
