Box Score WILMINGTON, D.E. - Felician men's lacrosse (3-6 / 0-3 CACC) traveled to Delaware Saturday afternoon for a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference match-up with Wilmington (Del.).
The Golden Falcons sat in a four goal deficit after the conclusion of the first to ultimately be shut down by the Wildcats for the 9-29 defeat.
Here's What Happened:
- Wilmington posted a goal in under a minute into regulation, but it didn't take long for the Golden Falcons to equalize when Jabes Escalante (South Hamilton, M.A.) caged a goal less than a minute later for the 1-1 draw.
- After the hosts jumped out with three more goals, Joe Bouab (Ronkonkoma, M.A.) kept Felician in the game with back-to-back goals and the squad trailed by one, 4-5. With Finn Crocker (Chelsea, M.A.) making his way toward goal for his first goal of the game, the Golden Falcons sat behind the Wildcats 5-9 to end the first quarter.
- The defensive charge by Wilmington, held Felician four goal for the remainder of the contest - two from Crocker, one more from Escalante and one from Liam Dunn (Murfreesboro, T.N.) - as they dropped 9-29 in the afternoon.
Box Score Insights:
- Crocker finished with five points with three goals and two assists while having one caused turnover, and picked up one ground ball. Escalante and Bouab had two goals apiece while Bouab ended the day with three points when he tallied an assist.
- Dunn also had a three-point game with a goal and two assists.
- Nick Grebe (Farmingville, N.Y.) recorded the loss and saved seven shots.
