Pleasantville, NY – The Golden Falcons battled to a 1–1 draw on Wednesday night against Pace University.
The Golden Falcons generated twelve shots, including seven on target. Felician also held a 5–0 advantage in corner kicks but could not find a second goal in the tightly played match.
Defender, Davide Carmignani provided the breakthrough for Felician, scoring in the 68th minute off an assist from Odhran Lawlor to tie up the contest. The Golden Falcons applied steady pressure throughout the second half, outshooting Pace 8–2, but were unable to break the tie after conceding an early first-half goal.
Goalkeeper Mathias Kristoffersen played all ninety minutes, but was not credited with a save as Pace's lone shot on goal found the net. The Golden Falcons finished with seven different players registering shots on the evening, led by Keiji Sugiura with three.
