Orangeburg, NY – The Golden Falcons bounce back in the win column with a 1-0 victory on Tuesday afternoon, against CACC opponent, Dominican University (NY).
Felician controlled possession and created consistent pressure throughout the contest, recording nine total shots with four on goal. The Golden Falcons capitalized midway through the second half, while goalkeeper Mathias Kristoffersen posted his fourth shutout to secure the win.
Keiji Sugiura converted a free kick , bending a shot past the Dominican keeper for his fourth goal of the season. Kristoffersen anchored the goal for all ninety minutes, collecting three first-half saves and two more in the second. The defensive unit of Andreas Mortensen, Luke Hodgkinson, Kohta Yamanashi, and Ignacio Ferrer Matas limited Dominican's attack to just five shots on target.
