Rutherford, N.J. - The Felician University women's lacrosse team faced a tough challenge on Tuesday afternoon, falling to nationally ranked No. 25 Dominican University (N.Y.) in a 21-0 contest at Tryon Field. The Golden Falcons (3-6, 0-4 CACC) struggles against the high-powered Chargers (9-1, 5-0 CACC).

Dominican's Grace DeStasio led all scorers with six goals, while Madelyn Grella recorded five goals and eight assists. Erica Ortiz also contributed five goals and two assists. The Golden Falcons were held to just four total shots. Jessica Naoum made four saves for Felician despite relentless offensive pressure.

Felician was outdone in the draw circle, winning five compared to Dominican's 12-for-12 clear attempts.
