Rutherford, N.J. - Despite a late push in the fourth quarter, Felician women's lacrosse dropped a 10-5 loss to Caldwell University in conference play on Tuesday afternoon.

The Golden Falcons were led offensively by
Eva Moreland and
Mary Gazaleh, who each netted two goals.
Kathleen Lopez also added a goal, converting a free-position shot in the second quarter.
Caldwell used a strong first-half performance to take the early lead, scoring four goals in the opening quarter and carrying a 6-2 lead into halftime. The Cougars were paced by Jessica George, who tallied four goals and added an assist.
Felician found rhythm late, scoring three of the game's final five goals, including back-to-back strikes from Gazaleh and Moreland, cutting the deficit to 8-4. Caldwell maintained control and tacked on two more scores.
The two teams were even in shots, while Felician had the slight edge in ground balls. The Golden Falcons won the draw control battle, 11-7, led by
Natalia Ogando and
Nicole Jenal. Goalkeeper
Jessica Naoum made seven saves.
