Men's Lacrosse Falls at Southern New Hampshire in Season Opener

Hooksett, N.H. - The Felician University men's lacrosse team opened the 2026 season on the road, falling to Southern New Hampshire, 27-4, on Monday afternoon.

Southern New Hampshire came out firing, scoring eight goals in the opening quarter to take early control of the contest. The Penmen continued to build momentum in the second period, entering halftime with a 12-1 advantage despite Felician finding the scoreboard late in the quarter on an unassisted goal from Stanley Labady II.

Felician showed resilience in the third quarter with Declan Oliva netting his first goal of the season, but Southern New Hampshire's offense remained steady, extending its lead to 21-2 heading into the fourth quarter. Joe Bouab added an unassisted goal midway through the final quarter, while Liam Dunn closed out the scoring for the Golden Falcons with a man-up goal in the final seconds assisted by Connor Langdon.

Dunn, Labady II, Oliva, and Bouab each recorded one goal for Felician, as Langdon led the team with one assist and six shots. In goal, Landon Santangelo and Ruairi O'Connor combined for seven saves.

Felician will look to bounce back as they travel to USA Lacrosse to take on the University of the District of Columbia on Sunday, February 15.
