Hampton, VA – Felician Golden Falcons bounced back in a big way Sunday morning, erupting for 11 runs in the fourth inning to power past the Millersville Marauders, 13–5, at War Memorial Stadium.
After Millersville plated an unearned run in the opening frame, Felician's pitching staff settled in early. Christian Colmery worked three steady innings to keep the deficit at one before Andrew Gendi took over and delivered three strong frames in relief, earning the win.
The game flipped entirely in the bottom of the fourth.
Jose David Medrano led off the inning with a solo home run to tie the contest, and moments later Neisser Sanchez launched a three-run homer to right field, giving Felician its first lead of the day. From there, the Golden Falcons kept pressure on with disciplined at-bats, drawing walks and capitalizing on defensive miscues.
Haiden Walters ripped a two-run double during the rally, Rocko Brzezniak worked an RBI walk, Bryce Curry added an RBI single, and Sanchez followed with another RBI knock. Andrew DeAngelis capped the outburst with a sacrifice fly, closing out an 11-run inning that gave Felician full control.
Millersville managed two runs in the fifth and added two more in the seventh, but Felician answered late with insurance. Jeremy Espinal doubled and later scored in the seventh, and Petrick drove in Curry in the eighth to push the margin to eight.
Felician finished with 13 runs on seven hits while drawing 11 walks. Sanchez led the offense with four RBI, while Walters went 2-for-5 with two RBI and a double. Medrano homered and scored twice, and Espinal reached base three times and crossed the plate twice.
On the mound, Gendi struck out five over three innings of relief. Gavin Enright and Jackson Walsh combined to close things out, with Walsh tossing the final 1.1 innings without allowing a run.
