No. 17 Baseball Powers Past Adelphi with Thirteen Home Runs

Myrtle Beach, SC – Felician powered its way to a dominant 21–9 win before grinding out a clutch 6–5 victory later in the day, completing a doubleheader sweep of Adelphi behind explosive offense and late-game execution to move to 4-3 on the season.

Game 1

Felician erupted for 21 runs on 19 hits, launching seven home runs in a statement 21–9 victory. After Adelphi opened the scoring, the Golden Falcons responded with a five-run first inning highlighted by Ernesto Polanco's three-run homer.

The bats never cooled. Luis De La Cruz belted a three-run shot in the second, Bryce Curry added two home runs on the day, and Rocko Brzezniak delivered a historic performance with three home runs (first player in program history to record three homeruns in a single game) and seven RBI. Jose David Medrano also homered and drove in three as Felician scored in five different innings.

Aiden Denton earned the win in relief with two scoreless innings, while the pitching staff combined to close out the high-scoring contest.

Felician followed with a 6–5 win, using timely power and late pitching to secure the sweep.

Luis De La Cruz homered twice, including a two-run shot in the fifth to regain the lead, and Rocko Brzezniak added a solo blast. After Adelphi tied the game at 5–5, Thomas Iaquinto delivered the decisive swing — a pinch-hit solo home run in the ninth.

Gavin Enright sealed the victory with three scoreless innings in relief, while Rafael Solano bridged the middle innings to keep the game within reach. Felician finished with nine hits, four stolen bases, and timely execution to cap the day.
