Rutherford, N.J. - On Saturday, March 13th, the Felician men's lacrosse team took on the Holy Family Tigers. Felician's game was highlighted by strong performances from junior goalkeeper, Landon Snatangelo, and senior face off specialist,
Mark Gilles. Santangelo would retire at the end of the third quarter of play making 14 saves before bowing out to sophomore goalkeeper,
Ruairi O'Connor. Meanwhile Gilles would win 17 of his 28 taken face offs on the day for a staggering 60% win percentage while also collecting seven ground balls in the process.
While Holy Family applied pressure, relief was found in the forms of
Ethan Todner,
Liam Dunn, and
Stanley Labady II each notching two goals on the afternoon, as well as a solo goal by
Connor Langdon. Junior Aaron SIbal would lead the team in caused turnovers on the day taking the ball away twice with additional takeaways from
Ian Fleurant, Santangelo,
Joe Bouab,
Anthony Torre Jr.,
Declan Oliva, and
Liam Dunn.
The Golden Falcons return to play on the road at the University of Bridgeport on March 21st.
