Bridgeport, CT. - The Felician men's lacrosse team fell on Saturday afternoon, dropping a 22-4 decision to Bridgeport.
Bridgeport controlled the pace early, jumping out to an 8-0 lead after the first quarter and extending it to 16 by halftime. The Purple Knights' high-powered offense kept pressure on throughout, finishing with 50 shots and 22 goals.
Felician showed resilience in the second half, breaking through in the third quarter when
Connor Langdon got the Golden Falcons on the board with an unassisted goal. Later,
Damian Carrigan capitalized on a man-up opportunity to add another. The Golden Falcons saw
Brian Rosko and
Mark Gilles find the back of the net in the fourth quarter to round out the team's scoring.Â
Defensively, Felician split time in goal between
Landon Santangelo and
Ruairi O'Connor, combining for seven saves.
Felician will look to regroup as it continues conference play at Wilmingtno on Saturday, March 28.
