Softball Walks Off Saint Anselm in Extras Before Falling to STAC

Melbourne, FL - Felician split its games on Friday, earning a 10–9 extra-inning win over Saint Anselm before falling 7–2 to St. Thomas Aquinas.

Game One

Felician scored 10 runs on 14 hits, including two doubles and one triple, while drawing three walks and striking out once. The Golden Falcons left seven runners on base and drove in eight RBI.

Felician answered an early deficit with two runs in the first inning. Hannah Ramirez reached base and later scored on an error before Kimberly Torres doubled and came home on a triple from Annika Smith to tie the game.

Trailing late, Felician erupted for seven runs in the sixth inning to take control. Alyson Walling started the rally with an RBI single before Makayla De la Rosa added a run-scoring single. Ramirez followed with an RBI single, Karina De La Vega drove in another run with a base hit, and Mikayla Brown delivered an RBI single as Felician capitalized on defensive miscues during the inning.

After the game was tied again in the seventh, Felician secured the victory in the eighth inning when Kimberly Torres delivered a walk-off RBI double to score Ramirez from second.

Kimberly Torres led the offense with a 4-for-5 performance, including two doubles and two RBI. Makayla De la Rosa finished with two hits, including a double and an RBI, while Brielle Cubala added two hits and scored once. Hannah Ramirez scored three runs and drove in one, while Mikayla Brown and Karina De La Vega each contributed a hit and an RBI.

Felician used three pitchers in the game. Jocelyn Moody started and worked 3.1 innings before Kelsey Vitalis followed with 3.2 innings in relief. Kylie Dressel earned the win after tossing a scoreless eighth inning.

Game Two

Felician scored two runs on seven hits, including three doubles and four singles, while drawing two walks and striking out six times. The Golden Falcons left seven runners on base.

Felician opened the scoring in the first inning when Mikayla Brown doubled to center field and later scored on an RBI double from Kimberly Torres.

The Falcons added another run in the fourth inning when Makayla De la Rosa was hit by a pitch and later scored on an RBI single from Alyson Walling.

Karina De La Vega led the offense with two hits, while Brown added a double and scored a run. Torres finished with a double and an RBI, and Walling contributed a hit and an RBI.

Felician used three pitchers in the game. Skye Limardo started and worked three innings before Jocelyn Moody followed with one inning in relief. Kylie Dressel closed the game with two innings while recording one strikeout.
