New Castle, DE - Felician kept its historic season alive on Thursday, bouncing back from an opening loss to Bridgeport with a season-saving 2–0 victory over Wilmington in the CACC Tournament elimination bracket. The Golden Falcons will now face the loser of Bridgeport and Caldwell with a trip to the CACC Championship on the line.
Game One: Bridgeport 7, Felician 4
Felician battled throughout the opener but fell 7–4 despite rallying late and putting pressure on Bridgeport deep into the game.
Bridgeport capitalized on early defensive miscues to build a 4–0 lead through the first three innings, but Felician responded by gradually chipping away.
Kimberly Torres delivered the first spark in the fourth inning, launching a solo home run to right field to put the Falcons on the board. An inning later, Felician cut the deficit to two after Brielle Cubala singled and later scored following pressure on the bases and a throwing error.
The Falcons mounted their biggest rally in the sixth. Alyson Walling worked a leadoff walk and Hannah Ramirez followed after being hit by a pitch, setting up a bases-loaded opportunity. Kelsey Vitalis brought home a run with a sacrifice fly before another run crossed on a wild pitch, trimming the deficit to 5–4.
Felician continued to apply pressure in the seventh, putting runners on base again and forcing Bridgeport to work through another tense inning, but the Falcons were unable to find the tying run.

Game Two: Felician 2, Wilmington 0
With elimination looming, Felician answered with one of its strongest performances of the postseason, shutting out Wilmington to extend its season.
The decisive moment came in the third inning. Sienna Cardell worked a walk and moved into scoring position before Karina De La Vega drove a two-run home run to left center, giving Felician all the offense it would need.
From there, Kelsey Vitalis controlled the game in the circle.
