Nutley, NJ - Felician continued its late-game dominance with a doubleheader sweep of Dominican (N.Y.), earning a 4–3 walk-off win in Game One before completing another seventh-inning comeback in a 6–5 victory in Game Two. With the sweep, the Golden Falcons improved to 4–0 in conference play—each win coming on a final-inning rally.
Game One
Felician scored four runs on 11 hits, including five doubles and six singles. The Golden Falcons drew three walks and left seven runners on base.
Trailing 3–0 midway through the game, Felician chipped away in the fifth inning. Kailey Alas put the Falcons on the board with an RBI single, and Karina De La Vega followed with a sacrifice fly to make it a one-run game. An inning later, Kelsey Vitalis lined a double into the gap to even the score at 3–3.
The pressure finally broke through in the seventh. De La Vega and Mikayla Brown opened the frame with back-to-back singles, and Kimberly Torres followed to load the bases. With no outs, Makayla De La Rosa delivered the deciding swing, lining a walk-off single to bring home De La Vega and cap the comeback.
De La Rosa finished with two hits and the game-winning RBI, while Brown added a pair of hits. Vitalis contributed the game-tying double, and Alas drove in the Falcons' first run.
Jocelyn Moody kept Felician within striking distance, allowing three runs over 6.1 innings, before Kylie Dressel closed the door to earn the win.
Game Two
Felician totaled six runs on nine hits, mixing in a triple, a home run, and timely situational hitting to complete the sweep.
Once again playing from behind, the Falcons began to turn the momentum in the fifth. Mikayla Brown sparked the offense with a two-run triple down the line, cutting into the deficit, and Felician continued to apply pressure in the sixth to pull within one.
That set the stage for another decisive seventh inning. Kimberly Torres wasted no time, leading off the frame with a solo home run to tie the game. Moments later, Karina De La Vega moved into scoring position, and Autumn Eck lifted a deep sacrifice fly to bring her home, sealing Felician's second walk-off of the day.
Torres paced the offense with four hits, including the game-tying home run, while De La Vega added two hits and scored twice. Brown drove in two with her triple, and Eck provided the final swing with the walk-off sacrifice fly.
Kelsey Vitalis started in the circle, and Skye Limardo was dominant in relief, tossing three scoreless innings to secure the win.
