RUTHERFORD, N.J. – Felician opened its home schedule in convincing fashion Sunday evening, earning a 3-0 shutout victory over American International at Tryon Field.
The Golden Falcons wasted little time finding the back of the net, as Michel Bose opened the scoring in the fourth minute off a feed from Bartu Yakkan. Felician doubled its advantage in the 34th minute when Yakkan converted a pass from Adrian Buri, sending the Golden Falcons into halftime with a 2-0 lead.
Felician continued to control the match after the break, and Bose added his second goal of the evening in the 83rd minute, once again with Yakkan providing the assist. The Golden Falcons held American International without a shot in the second half to secure the shutout.
