HOOKSETT, N.H. – After cracking the Top 10 in this week's USCA East Regional Ranking, the Golden Falcons battled throughout Wednesday afternoon's road matchup against Southern New Hampshire University but ultimately fell, 3-0, to the Penmen at Mark A. Ouellette Stadium.

Southern New Hampshire opened the scoring in the 14th minute before adding another goal late in the opening half to take a 2-0 advantage into the break. The Penmen added a third goal early in the second half, while Felician continued to create chances but could not find the back of the net.

The Golden Falcons finished with 12 shots, including five on target, while Mathias Kristoffersen made five saves in goal.

• Mathias Kristoffersen played all 90 minutes in goal and made five saves.

• Bartu Yakkan led Felician with two shots, both of which were on target.

• Ernest Llaras recorded two shots, including one on target.

• Guy Raish registered one shot on target.

• Rodrigo Gete Cordero finished with one shot on target.

• Felician totaled 12 shots and five shots on target.

• FIRST HALF | Felician generated an early opportunity when Bartu Yakkan put a shot on target in the fifth minute, but the Southern New Hampshire goalkeeper made the save. Rodrigo Gete Cordero followed with another shot on target in the 12th minute, which was also stopped.

• FIRST HALF | Mathias Kristoffersen made his first save of the afternoon in the 14th minute, stopping a Southern New Hampshire shot before the Penmen opened the scoring moments later.

• FIRST HALF | Felician continued to look for an equalizer, with Bartu Yakkan putting another shot on target in the 23rd minute. Ernest Llaras Viver later had a shot blocked before Guy Raish and Llaras Viver each put attempts on target in the closing stages of the half.

• FIRST HALF | Southern New Hampshire added its second goal in the 42nd minute, sending the Golden Falcons into halftime trailing 2-0.

• SECOND HALF | Felician's first opportunity after halftime came from Haruto Horii, who recorded a shot in the 50th minute. Southern New Hampshire then extended its lead to 3-0 in the 52nd minute.

• SECOND HALF | Kristoffersen kept Felician within striking distance with three saves during a stretch in the middle of the half, stopping attempts in the 56th, 59th and 85th minutes.

• FINAL MINUTES | Felician continued to generate opportunities, with Issa El Assal and Charles Greene III each recording shots before Andre Cunha had a late attempt blocked. The Golden Falcons were unable to break through as Southern New Hampshire completed the 3-0 shutout.

• Felician returns to action on this Saturday, September 5th as they square off against Southern Connecticut State on the road.
