WINTER PARK, Fla. – Senior third-baseman Mike Farrell (Red Bank, N.J.) and junior catcher Jay Collazo (Wall, N.J.) drove in three runs each as the Felician College baseball team earned an 11-2 non-conference victory over Stonehill College on Tuesday afternoon during the Baseball Week event hosted by Rollins College at Alfond Stadium. Stonehill (7-3) is ranked No. 21 in the most recent national NCAA Division II writers' poll.

Felician (6-8), the designated home team, snapped a 2-2 tie with six runs in the bottom of the fifth inning. After the Golden Falcons loaded the bases with none out on two singles and an error, junior Aaron Brill (West Palm Beach, Fla.) singled home the go-ahead run. Farrell then blasted a three-run double to right-center field, and two batters later, Collazo capped the rally with a two-run double.

Felician tacked on two runs in the sixth and one more in the seventh.

Golden Falcon sophomore right-hander Matthew Facendo (Hazlet, N.J.) (3-0) was the beneficiary of the offensive explosion, becoming the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference's first three-game winner this season. The Felician starter worked seven innings, giving up two runs on five hits with four strikeouts.

Farrell finished 3 for 4 with two doubles, and Brill was 3 for 5 with a double and two RBI. Jordan Tackett (Fredericksburg, Va.) and Scott De Jong (North Haledon, N.J.) each tripled for the Golden Falcons.

James DeAlto (Briarcliffe Manor, N.Y.) drove in three runs for the Skyhawks.
