PALISADES PARK, N.J.  – A seven-run first inning jump-started the Felician University baseball team to an 18-6 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference victory over visiting Nyack College on Tuesday afternoon at Overpeck County Park. Felician went on to collect six more hits and two walks during the frame, highlighted by a two-run triple from Michael Kuver (Malanapan, N.J./Manalapan) to take control. Florides added a run-scoring single in the second for an 8-0 Golden Falcon edge.

The Warriors scored three times in the third on an RBI single by Nappi and a two-run double from Alber Pichardo (Bronx, N.Y./Design and Construction Academy). But Felician put the game away with five runs on just two hits in the home half of the third to move ahead, 13-3.

Nyack picked up three runs off the Golden Falcon bullpen in the fifth, but when the hosts scored five times in the sixth and kept the Warriors off the scoreboard in the seventh, the game ended on the CACC's 10-run rule.

Luis De La Cruz (Jersey City, N.J./Bergen Catholic) was 2 for 4 with three runs scored and Levis Aguila (Miramar, Fla./Hialeah Gardens) went 2 for 3 for Felician, which pounded out 16 hits and drew six walks.  Nyack leadoff man Kareem Halloway (Bellport, N.Y./Dominican College) was 2 for 4 with a double and scored twice.
