Lincoln, PA - The Golden Falcons were victorious in two close games against Lincoln Univeristy. Felician swept the Lions in a high scoring 9-8 match-up, and made a late game comeback to secure a 3-2 win in game two.
Game One
Felician's resilience and offensive firepower propelled them to a thrilling 9-8 extra-inning victory over Lincoln (Pa.). After a scoreless opening frame, the Golden Falcons broke the game open in the second inning, plating four runs to establish an early lead. They continued to apply pressure in the third, adding two more runs before Lincoln responded with a pair of their own, setting the stage for a back-and-forth battle. Despite Felician's efforts to maintain control, Lincoln clawed their way back, eventually tying the game at 8-8 and forcing extra innings. The Golden Falcons capitalized on a scoring opportunity in the 10th inning to regain the lead before their bullpen shut down Lincoln's offense in the bottom half, securing the hard-fought win.
