Softball Earns A Split Against Georgian Court

Little Ferry, NJ -  The Golden Falcons seized an early lead and held off Georgian Court to secure a 3-1 victory in game one. Despite their dominant performance in the opener, the Falcons struggled in game two, falling behind early and unable to mount a successful comeback, ultimately suffering an 11-6 defeat.

Game One

The Golden Falcons secured a hard-fought 3-1 victory over Georgian Court in game one, capitalizing on a strong third inning and a dominant pitching performance. Felician struck early, plating all three of their runs in the third frame, while their defense and pitching kept the Lions at bay until the seventh inning, where they allowed just one run. Riley Williams was exceptional on the mound, delivering a complete-game performance. She struck out eight batters, allowed only one run, and did not surrender a hit through the first three innings. Williams demonstrated impeccable control, not allowing a single walk or hit batter throughout the game. At the plate, the Golden Falcons showcased their offensive depth. Layla Albarran went 2-for-3, including a double and an RBI, while Kailey Alas also contributed with a 2-for-3 performance. Game Two
