Melbourne, Florida: Felician claimed a their first victory in a hard-fought contest, finishing with a 2-0 shutout over Davenport in game one of the Space Coast Invitational.

The Golden Falcons' first win of the season came by way of timely hitting, superb defense, and a combined shutout.. The team scored both runs during the fifth inning, utilizing a critical double to bring home the decisive runs. Defensively, Felician was flawless, committing no errors while completing two double plays to stifle Davenport's offense. The team totaled four hits, and two runs batted in. Pitching efforts were exceptional, with Felician holding Davenport to only two hits across the game. Junior Pitcher, Mallory Shevlin would get the start in the circle for the Golden Falcons, tossing a scoreless three innings. Riley Williams would come in relief and cruise to the victory, fanning five of Davenport's batters, and allowing just one hit in the contest.

Felician's Hannah Ramirez delivered the game-winning hit, a double that drove in both of the team's runs in the decisive fifth inning. Pinch hitter, Victorie Leon came off the bench for the Golden Falcons and provided a single to left in the bottom of the fifth inning. In the circle, Riley Williams was dominant, throwing four shutout innings of relief to secure the victory, allowing only one hit and striking out five. Williams earned the win and showcased exceptional poise in key moments. Starter, Mallory Shevlin also tossed a gem for the Golden Falcons allowing only one hit in her three innings of work.
