Melbourne, FL - Felician split its doubleheader, defeating Ursuline 4–2 in Game One before falling 12–0 to Minnesota State in Game Two.
Game One
Felician scored four runs on seven hits, including one triple and six singles. The Golden Falcons struck out nine times and left four runners on base while adding two stolen bases.
Felician opened the scoring in the first inning when Hannah Ramirez singled and later scored on an RBI single from Kimberly Torres.
After falling behind, Felician responded with a two-run fifth inning. Annika Smith and Brielle Cubala each singled to start the rally before both moved into scoring position on stolen bases. Ramirez drove in the tying run on a fielder's choice, and the go-ahead run scored on a wild pitch.
Felician added an insurance run in the sixth when Kimberly Torres singled and Jessica Paxson entered as a pinch runner. Following a sacrifice bunt from Kelsey Vitalis, Annika Smith delivered an RBI triple to right field to extend the lead.
Kimberly Torres led the offense with a 3-for-3 performance and one RBI. Annika Smith recorded two hits including a triple and drove in a run while also scoring once and stealing a base. Hannah Ramirez added a hit, a run scored, and an RBI, while Brielle Cubala contributed a hit and a stolen base during the fifth-inning rally.
Jocelyn Moody tossed a complete game, allowing two runs (one earned) on nine hits with three strikeouts.
Game Two
Felician was held scoreless in the nightcap.
The Golden Falcons finished with three hits, all singles, while striking out five times and leaving three runners on base. Mikayla Brown, Kimberly Torres, and Annika Smith each recorded a hit for Felician.
