Bridgeport, CT - Felician dropped a 5–4 decision to Bridgeport on Tuesday afternoon. The Golden Falcons built an early lead and carried a three-run advantage into the seventh inning, but a late rally proved to be the difference.
Felician scored four runs on six hits, including six singles. The Golden Falcons drew six walks and struck out seven times while leaving 12 runners on base and stealing four bases.
Felician took control in the third inning with three runs. Luis De La Cruz and Bryce Curry each singled to start the rally before Haiden Walters worked a walk to load the bases. Ernesto Polanco brought home the first run after reaching on an error, and Andrew DeAngelis followed with an RBI walk to give Felician the lead. Brandon Petrick added a sacrifice fly to extend the advantage to 3–1.
The Falcons added to their lead in the seventh inning when Walters reached and moved into scoring position before DeAngelis delivered an RBI single to make it 4–1.
Bryce Curry led the offense with three hits and a run scored, while Andrew DeAngelis added a hit and two RBI. Haiden Walters contributed a hit, two runs scored, and a stolen base, and Luis De La Cruz added a hit and a run scored.
Felician used four pitchers in the game. Max Weber turned in a strong start, tossing six innings while allowing just one earned run and striking out nine. Aiden Denton took the loss in relief, while Chris Laieta and Andrew Gendi also saw time on the mound.
