Flemington, NJ - Felician split its doubleheader with D'Youville, falling 12–6 in Game One before responding with a 5–4 victory in Game Two.
Game One
Felician totaled six runs on 10 hits in the opener, including one double and nine singles. The Golden Falcons drew five walks and struck out nine times while leaving seven runners on base. Felician broke through in the fourth inning when Matthew Scrivanic delivered an RBI single to score Rocko Brzezniak. The Falcons added four runs in the seventh inning behind an RBI single from Ernesto Polanco, an RBI groundout by Haiden Walters, and a two-run single from Jose David Medrano.
Andrew DeAngelis led the offense with a 3-for-4 performance at the plate. Medrano finished with two hits and three RBI, while Scrivanic added two hits and an RBI. Polanco contributed a hit and an RBI during the seventh-inning rally.
Felician used four pitchers over nine innings. Starter Max Weber went four innings, allowing four runs on five hits with five strikeouts. Antonio Sansone worked 2.2 innings in relief, while Rafael Solano and Nick DiMartino combined to finish the game.
Game Two
Felician bounced back in the second game of the doubleheader, holding on for a 5–4 win over D'Youville.
Felician scored five runs on eight hits, including one double and one triple. The Golden Falcons drew one walk and struck out seven times while swiping four bases. Felician jumped ahead early in the first inning when Bryce Curry singled to center field, driving in Jeremy Espinal and Rocko Brzezniak. Haiden Walters added an RBI double in the second, Brandon Petrick delivered an RBI single in the fourth, and Jose David Medrano extended the lead in the sixth with a run-scoring triple.
Medrano led the offense with two hits, including a triple and an RBI. Curry drove in two runs with his first-inning single, while Walters added a double and an RBI. Petrick also chipped in with an RBI single.
Felician used five pitchers over seven innings to secure the win. Chris Laieta started and worked 2.1 scoreless innings. Christian Colmery earned the win with 2.2 innings in relief, allowing three runs while striking out one. Aiden Denton added two strikeouts in relief, Devin Malvasio struck out three over one inning, and Gavin Enright recorded the save to close out the victory.
