Manchester, NH - The Felician University women's lacrosse team faced Saint Anselm on Monday afternoon. The Golden Falcons continued to compete throughout the contest while receiving solid efforts in goal from Jessica Naoum and Natalia Ogando.

Felician created early opportunities after Eva Moreland controlled the opening draw, and Mary Gazaleh recorded a shot on goal that was saved by the Saint Anselm goalkeeper. Naoum made several saves in the opening half to help keep Felician in the game.

Offensively, Felician continued to look for chances with shots from Gazaleh and Aly Amadruto, while Kathleen Lopez and Alyssa Tropeano contributed draw controls to help the Golden Falcons gain possession.

In the second half, Ogando entered in goal and recorded two saves while also causing a turnover and collecting a ground ball. Cleo Kepka added a ground ball late as Felician continued to battle through the final minutes.

The Golden Falcons move to face American Internation College on the road on Friday, March 13.
