Staten Island, NY - Felician used a pair of early multi-run innings to take control and never looked back, defeating Staten Island 9–3 on Tuesday night.
Felician scored nine runs on 10 hits, doing most of its damage across the first three innings while drawing eight walks and keeping pressure on throughout.
The Falcons jumped out immediately in the first. Haiden Walters came around to score on an RBI double from Luis De La Cruz, and Bryce Curry followed with an RBI groundout to make it 2–0.
Felician created separation in the second inning, sending five runs across. Bryce Curry delivered a two-run single up the middle, Neisser Sanchez added an RBI single, and Andrew DeAngelis broke it open with a two-run double down the line as the lead grew to 7–1.
The offense added on again in the third. Curry picked up another RBI on a groundout, and Jose David Medrano followed with an RBI single to cap the scoring at 9–3.
Bryce Curry led the offense with four RBI, while Luis De La Cruz finished with two hits, two doubles, three runs scored, and an RBI. Andrew DeAngelis added a double and two RBI, and Neisser Sanchez contributed a hit, two walks, and an RBI. Jose David Medrano chipped in with a hit and an RBI.
Felician used seven pitchers to cover the game. Nick DiMartino earned the win, while Rafael Solano worked into the middle innings. Briant Bazydlo, Tyler McLeod, Kyle Bednarski, Matt Alegria, and Dan Afflitto each contributed scoreless or limited innings to close it out, combining for 11 strikeouts and holding Staten Island to three runs.
