Philadelphia, PA - Felician came up short against Holy Family on Monday, falling 6–3 despite putting together 11 hits and creating opportunities across the later innings.
Felician finished with three runs on 11 hits, generating consistent traffic but struggling to convert in key moments.
The game turned early in the second inning, where Holy Family capitalized on a cluster of baserunners to build a four-run lead. Felician began working its way back in the third when Luis De La Cruz doubled and later scored on a sacrifice fly from Bryce Curry.
Felician continued to chip away rather than relying on one inning. In the fourth, Jose David Medrano and Brandon Petrick helped create pressure that led to a run scoring on a productive out. An inning later, Haiden Walters sparked another push—reaching, stealing second and third, and eventually scoring on a bases-loaded walk by Braden Walsh to make it 6–3.
The Falcons continued to threaten deep into the game. They put multiple runners on in the seventh, eighth, and ninth innings, including a two-hit seventh and a two-on situation in the ninth, but were unable to deliver the hit needed to extend the rally.
Haiden Walters and Luis De La Cruz each collected two hits at the top, while Rocko Brzezniak and Jose David Medrano also recorded multi-hit performances. Bryce Curry, Braden Walsh, and Ernesto Polanco each drove in a run as Felician totaled 11 hits.
On the mound, the Falcons pieced the game together after the early damage. Aiden Denton handled the start, with Jackson Walsh, Rafael Solano, and Kyle Bednarski covering the middle innings. Briant Bazydlo worked the final two frames without allowing a run, keeping the margin where it was.
