Baseball Bounces Back In The Win Column With A Huge Win Over Pace

Pleasantville, NY - Felician broke the game open with a dominant middle-inning surge, rolling to a 12–2 victory over Pace on Monday afternoon. A nine-run sixth inning flipped the game completely as the Golden Falcons overwhelmed the Mavericks late.

Felician finished with 12 runs on nine hits, mixing in three doubles and two home runs while drawing seven walks and striking out four times.

After falling behind 2–0 in the first, Felician chipped away before taking full control in the sixth. The Falcons got on the board in the fifth, then exploded an inning later with nine runs on six hits.

The rally built quickly. Jose David Medrano was hit by a pitch with the bases loaded to force in a run, and Haiden Walters followed with a walk to tie the game. Luis De La Cruz then pushed Felician in front with a two-run single, and Bryce Curry extended the lead with a two-run double. Rocko Brzezniak added an RBI single, and Braden Walsh capped the inning with a two-run home run as the Falcons surged ahead 10–2.

Felician added insurance in the eighth when Neisser Sanchez launched a two-run home run to left, extending the lead to 12–2.

Rocko Brzezniak led the offense with three hits and an RBI, while Braden Walsh added two hits including a home run and two RBI. Neisser Sanchez contributed a home run and two RBI, and Bryce Curry drove in two with a double. Luis De La Cruz added two RBI, while Jose David Medrano and Haiden Walters each recorded an RBI.

On the mound, Felician pieced together a strong staff performance. Briant Bazydlo started and allowed two runs over three innings. Matt Alegria followed with a scoreless inning, and Nick Dimartino earned the win with a clean fifth. Kyle Bednarski provided two shutout innings, Dean Daddio worked a scoreless eighth with two strikeouts, and Rafael Solano closed out the game with a scoreless ninth as the Falcons held Pace to just four hits.
