Pleasantville, NY - Felician broke the game open with a dominant middle-inning surge, rolling to a 12–2 victory over Pace on Monday afternoon. A nine-run sixth inning flipped the game completely as the Golden Falcons overwhelmed the Mavericks late.
Felician finished with 12 runs on nine hits, mixing in three doubles and two home runs while drawing seven walks and striking out four times.
After falling behind 2–0 in the first, Felician chipped away before taking full control in the sixth. The Falcons got on the board in the fifth, then exploded an inning later with nine runs on six hits.
The rally built quickly. Jose David Medrano was hit by a pitch with the bases loaded to force in a run, and Haiden Walters followed with a walk to tie the game. Luis De La Cruz then pushed Felician in front with a two-run single, and Bryce Curry extended the lead with a two-run double. Rocko Brzezniak added an RBI single, and Braden Walsh capped the inning with a two-run home run as the Falcons surged ahead 10–2.
Felician added insurance in the eighth when Neisser Sanchez launched a two-run home run to left, extending the lead to 12–2.
