Box Score NYACK, N.Y. – Felician University freshman Sami Lederle (Brick, N.J.) and junior Tainely Perez (Totowa, N.J.) scored their first collegiate goals in the Golden Falcons' 27-3 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference women's lacrosse loss to host Nyack College on Wednesday afternoon at Moseley Field.
Felician (0-11, 0-9 CACC) concluded its inaugural varsity intercollegiate season. Freshman Liana Chirichiello (Waldwick, N.J.) also scored for the Golden Falcons, her team-leading 11th goal of 2016.
Nyack (5-11, 3-6) jumped out to a 5-0 lead, with four goals and an assist from senior attacker Lauren Lebo (West Simsbury, Conn.), in the game's first four minutes. Lederle pulled the Golden Falcons to within 5-1 by scoring with 24 minutes, 23 seconds, left in the first half, but the Warriors rattled off the game's next six goals over an eight-minute stretch to take control. The hosts led, 19-2, at halftime.
Lebo, who took 22 shots, finished with 15 goals and two assists and picked up 16 draw controls. Nyack sophomore Victoria Silvers recorded three goals, 11 assists and five ground balls.
Nyack senior goalkeeper Madeline Barbarino (Staten Island, N.Y.) earned the victory with two saves. Sophomore Kathleen Britanak (Toms River, N.J.) was credited with four saves for Felician.
