LYNDHURST, N.J. – Wilmington (Del.) University scored the final 15 goals of its 18-2 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference women's lacrosse victory over host Felician University on Saturday morning at the Lyndhurst Recreation Complex.

Felician (0-13, 0-9 CACC) was playing its final game of the 2018 season. The victory kept alive Wilmington's hopes for a home game in the first round of the upcoming CACC Championship tournament.

Prior to the game, Golden Falcon senior defender Antoinette Baisden (Elizabeth, N.J./Elizabeth) and graduate defender/midfielder Berlina Cebien (Union, N.J./Union) were honored in a Senior Day ceremony. Cebien is one of three holdovers from Felician's inaugural season of 2016.

The Wildcats (7-9, 5-4) took a 3-0 lead after just three minutes, six seconds, of action when two Mikailla Spencer (Edgewood, Md./Harford Tech) goals sandwiched one from Lashay Ross (Hamilton, N.J./Hamilton West). The hosts pulled to within 3-2 on a pair of scores 27 seconds apart by freshman Jashima Brathwaite (Pembroke Pines, Fla./Hollywood Hills), the latter with 25:58 still to play in the opening period.

Felician, however, never scored again, finishing the day with just five shots. Wilmington junior goalkeeper Maddie Hurn (Elkton, Md./Rising Sun) made two saves to earn the victory.

Wildcat senior La'Dae Boykin (Baltimore, Md./Edgewood), the CACC's leading goal scorer, topped all players on the day with six points – three goals and three assists. Spencer produced a strong two-way effort with three goals, two assists, three ground balls, and four draw controls.

Brathwaite collected two draws and two ground balls for Felician. Baisden picked up one draw and one caused turnover in her final game.
