LAKEWOOD, N.J. – Felician University was defeated by host Georgian Court University, 18-2, in Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference women's lacrosse action on Sunday morning at the Georgian Court Track & Field Complex.

Freshmen Krista Cagno (East Brunswick, N.J.) and Tala Marzooq (Ewing, N.J.) scored for Felician (0-2, 0-2 CACC).

Georgian Court (5-2, 2-0) amassed a 34-7 shot advantage. Freshman goalkeeper Lauren Bain (Hamilton, Ontario) made nine saves and added three ground balls for Felician. Sophomore Amanda Ramirez (Manchester, N.J.) paced the Golden Falcon defense with six ground balls.

Sophomore Sabrina Chandler (Jackson, N.J.) scored three goals and classmate Heather Devaney (Jackson, N.J._ picked up a goal and three assists for the Lions, who led, 9-0, after 17 minutes and 13-1 at halftime.

Felician plays its first home game since Mar. 10, 2020, when it entertains Post University on Tuesday at noon at the Lyndhurst (N.J.) Recreation Complex.
