Box Score PHILADELPHIA – The Felician University women's lacrosse team fell behind, 9-0, after one period of an eventual 22-2 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference loss to host Thomas Jefferson University on Wednesday afternoon at Ravenhill Field. Jefferson (9-3, 7-0 CACC) has won nine consecutive games.
Felician redshirt junior defender Amanda Ramirez (Manchester, N.J.) recorded two ground balls and three caused turnovers. Ramirez set the Golden Falcon single-season caused turnover record after entering the day in a tie with Liana Chirichiello (2016) at 21. Her current total of 24 leads the CACC at the conclusion of Wednesday's games.
Sophomores Janea Kelty (West Milford, N.J.) and Tala Marzooq (Ewing, N.J.) tallied the Felician goals. Sophomore goalkeeper Lauren Bain (Hamilton, Ontario) made 16 saves and topped the Golden Falcons (2-11, 1-6) with three ground balls.
The Rams featured 12 different goal-scorers. Sophomores Madison Caffrey (Easton, Pa.) (5 goals, 1 assist) and Audrey Stock (Holliston, Mass.) (4 goals, 2 assists) led the way with six points apiece.
