The team's pitching staff combined for fifteen strikeouts but struggled with control, issuing eleven walks. Defensive lapses, including three errors, proved costly in the loss. Sadier Vicioso would be first up out of the bullpen for the Golden Falcons, posting five strikeouts and two runs allowed in three innings pitched.
Game Two
Felician fell to Molloy 9-4 in the second game of the double-header. The Golden Falcons started strong, scoring two early runs in the first inning capitalizing on defensive miscues from the Lions. Despite an early lead, the Felician offense struggled to maintain momentum, managing only two hits throughout the game. Julian Uejima delivered the biggest offensive moment for the Golden Falcons, driving in two runs with a double in the fourth inning. Haiden Walters contributed the only other hit for the Golden Falcons.
On the pitching side, Collin Kratzer would get the start for game two. Nathan Ruth , and Kyle Bednarski would come in relief throughout the seven inning contest. The pitching staff combined for thirteen strikeouts, with Ruth leading the pact with nine total K's. However, the staff surrendered eleven hits, including three doubles and a home run, allowing Molloy to capitalize on scoring opportunities. Defensive lapses also played a role in the outcome, as the Golden Falcons committed two errors, extending innings and giving Molloy extra chances to build their lead.
