Baseball Cruises To Series Sweep Against Bridgeport

Lyndhurst, NJ - The Golden Falcons delivered a dominant series against Bridgeport, opening with a commanding 13-3 victory in Game One, which concluded in the eighth inning via the run rule. They maintained their momentum to secure a decisive series sweep, capped off by a 9-0 shutout in Game Two.

Game One

The Golden Falcons built on their strong start to the series against Bridgeport with an impressive 13-3 victory in Game One, ending the game early in the bottom of the eighth inning due to the run-rule. The team tallied ten hits, drove in twelve of their thirteen runs, reached base seven times via walk, and struck out only once. They opened the scoring with two runs in the bottom of the first inning and quickly regained the lead after Bridgeport tied the game in the second inning, continuing to extend their lead throughout the contest. The pitching staff delivered a solid performance, allowing just three runs on seven hits and issuing only two walks. Standout performances included Rocko Brzezniak, who went 2-for-4 with three runs scored and one stolen base; Haiden Walters, who was 2-for-4 with two runs scored, three RBIs, and four stolen bases; Anthony Lamar, who went 1-for-3 with two runs scored, two RBIs, and one walk; and Matthew Scrivanic, who contributed a 1-for-4 effort with a triple, three RBIs, and one stolen base.

Game Two

The Golden Falcons built on their strong performance in Game One, closing out the series with a dominant sweep. Felician secured a commanding 9-0 victory in Game Four, capping off the series with another big win. As a team, the Golden Falcons recorded thirteen hits, including six for extra bases, stole three bases, and did not strike out at the plate. The pitching staff delivered a masterful performance, allowing no runs, just two hits, and issuing only nine baserunners throughout the game. After a quiet start offensively, Felician broke through in the third inning and scored in each of the following three frames, extending their lead to nine runs and securing the shutout. Standout performances included Jaxson Wall, who went 2-for-4 with two runs scored, two RBIs, and one double; Chris Corchado, who went 2-for-4 with two RBIs; Julian Uejima, who finished 2-for-3 with two runs scored, one RBI, and two doubles; and Jace Gilligan, who pitched five shutout innings, struck out five batters, and earned his second win of the season.
